The author talks through philanthropic activities of rich people, and how sometimes it could be counterproductive to society. ![]() Yet, it is not completely a rant against all the rich people in the world. Anand Giridharadas, a former “New York Times” columnist teaching journalism at the New York University, writes this book to take us through the myriad world of elites, entrepreneurs and business magnates, and how they are becoming more and more influential in the society that even could undermine the very fabric of social democracy and government. ![]()
